Fearlessly Feminine Challenge-Day 4

So it's Day 4 of the Fearlessly Feminine Challenge.  Yesterday, I spend much of the afternoon reading blogs about wearing skirts (the links were on the FFC yesterday at Swinging on Small Hinges).

I read about what you need to start building your skirt wardrobe (I have plenty of skirts), what to wear on your feet and lots of other stuff.  I also visited a few websites that sell modest skirts and saw some that I really like.  However, I don't think I am built for wearing a skirt.  I think I should look for more dresses like the one I wore on day 2.  I "can" be comfortable in a skirt but in order to do that I really need to go with a frumpy look (like yesterday) and I don't want that.  Perhaps as I lose more weight I will feel differently but I have a very high waist and I'm bottom heavy....I'm finding that I don't really like the way I look and I'm looking forward to wearing jeans/capris again.  (Maybe I should take pictures then and see which I like better.  I really HATE pictures of myself.)

Here I am this morning with my youngest daughter Sadie who wouldn't smile for the camera.

I haven't had a chance yet to read today's post over at Swinging on Small Hinges so I'll do that now.  (My son Connor just climbed up on my lap and saw this picture and said that I was wearing a pretty dress. :) )

Very cute! Marshalls has some great longer skirts--I really want to go pick a few up.

I really hate pictures of myself too. And - you and I suffer from a similar malady. The dreaded High Waist. It makes most things just not fit quite right. I love your denim skirt today. It looks so comfy! And your daughter is too cute. :)
Thanks for linking up!
