Slim Down Sunday

Well, I'm a day late (again) but here goes:





Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace. 

Pounds Lost: 54.6 lbs (same as least week)

How is it going this week?  Still going along steadily.

My Plan for the Week Ahead: Just keep doing what I've been doing. I still haven't felt like exercising unless you count knitting as exercise. :)

Slim Down Sunday





Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace. 

Pounds Lost: 51.2 lbs (1 lb lost though for some unknown reason I was up a full lb from yesterday.  I thought it was going to be 2 lbs)

How is it going this week?  I didn't participate in Slim Down Sunday last week.  I was sick and I had a wedding to attend that was out of state.  This week my grandmother passed away so it's been hectic but I've just been sticking to my 400 calorie meals.  I still do not feel good so I have not exercised in over a week.  

My Plan for the Week Ahead: Just keep doing what I've been doing and if I feel better I will try to exercise a couple of days this week.

Slim Down Sunday




Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace.

Pounds Lost: 47.6 (stayed the same this week)

How is it going this week? About the same.  I sometimes want to eat more than I should but I don't.  I always feel discouraged when I don't lose for a whole week.  I also participated in the Fearlessly Feminine Challenge this week where I wore a skirt (or dress) every day and took a picture of myself and blogged about it.  It was hard to look at those pictures every day (and post them.)  It's been nearly a year since I started this weight loss journey and I haven't even lost 50 lbs yet.  I'm seriously thinking of exercising to hopefully jump start things a bit.


My plan for the week ahead: Just keep doing what I've been doing and maybe start doing my Leslie Sansone DVDs again.

Slim Down Sunday

Last week I wasn't able to participate in Slim Down Sunday because Irene took out our power (only for a short time) and then our phone and internet were out for a couple of days.




Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace.

Pounds Lost: 47.6 (4.4 lbs in the last 2 weeks)

How is it going this week? Things are going along steadily.  A couple of days this week I just wanted to eat (but didn't!)  It seems to me if you are hunkered down for a hurricane turned tropical storm you should be able to eat all day...BUT, it just doesn't work that way. :)


My plan for the week ahead:  Just keep doing what I've been doing.

Slim Down Sunday





Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace.

Pounds Lost: 44.0 total (.8 lbs this week.)

How is it going this week?  No real problems.  I've fallen into a rut and want to get back to healthier eating.  I need more fiber...and more vegetables.

My plan for the week ahead:  No real plan except to continue eating four 400 calorie meals a day.  I'm considering exercising again....

Slim Down Sunday




Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace.

Pounds Lost: 43.2 total (1.6 lbs this week.)

How is it going this week?  This week went reasonably well.  I hate when I just want to eat.  I don't do it, but it just reminds me that my battle against losing/maintaining will be life long. :(

My plan for the week ahead:  Just keep doing what I've been doing.

Slim Down Sunday- a day late

I didn't have a chance to post yesterday.  This was a very busy week around here.


Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace.

Pounds: Lost: 41.6 total (This is only down .2 from last week.  I was down more than that before the weekend but I find that I fluctuate and I'm really OK with that.)

How is it going this week?  I had a good week.  No real problems. I had 2 meals out on Saturday so that could be part of the reason why I didn't lose as much as I would have liked but like I said I am OK with that.  In order to make lifestyle changes I have to be able to eat out and "be normal" or I won't stick with it.

My plan for the week ahead:  Just keep doing what I've been doing.

Slim Down Sunday



Goal: Continue losing weight at a steady pace.

Pounds: Lost: 41.4 total (1.4 this week!)

How is it going this week?  I had a good week.  No real problems.  It was an encouragement to see the scale move this week.  Last week I was discouraged and feeling like it wasn't going to move again.

My plan for the week ahead:  Just keep doing what I've been doing.  This is going to be a busy week so I'm not even going to think about exercising.
